Services




Boarding

All new customers are required to complete a Phone Call Questionnaire as well as an Overnight Trial before their dog can come for a longer stay. We are not offering in person Meet & Greets at this time.

Guests are encouraged to bring comfort items from home such as beds, blankets, toys and treats. No bowls, rawhide or rope toys please!

Rate is $70+tax/day

The rate for each additional dog is $55+tax/day, if your dogs board together. If you pick up during our morning slot, you are not charged for pick up day.

Daytime play group and basic medication are included in the price.

Daycare

We offer daycare on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our Daycare Program is a weekly commitment and dogs are assigned to a specific day.

Drop off and pick up times vary by day. Dogs socialize all day aside from a 2 hour lunch break. Dogs are crated during lunch.

Rate is $40/day incl. tax.

All dogs must complete a Phone Call Questionnaire and pass their Trial Day before being accepted into our program. The cost for the Trial Day is $55 and includes a daycare lunch bowl.

Grooming

Jerzey's Spa offers nails trims and bath packages (bath, blow dry, brush, nail trim, ear cleaning) for our boarding and daycare dogs.

All dogs that visit our Spa are given 1-on-1 attention from the start of their appointment to the end.

Prices vary by breed, coat condition & temperament.

If you are looking for a full service Grooming Salon, our recommendation is Buggy's Bubbles and Bows in Hudson Falls. The owner, Brianna, was our Grooming Manager for 5 years before pursuing her dream to open her own business. Brianna can be reached at (518) 401-7859.

Visiting the Resort

We require all new boarders and their owners to complete a 'Virtual Meet & Greet' over the phone before a dog's first stay. During the Virtual Meet & Greet, we will ask you questions about your dog and go over our requirements. You will have the opportunity to learn about the facility, learn what a typical day is like here at Jerzey's & you can ask any questions you have. If your dog's first stay is longer than 2 nights, we also require an 'Overnight Trial'. Short visits teach your dog that Jerzey's is a safe, comfortable and fun place for them to be, which results in less anxiety for your dog when they come for a longer boarding visit. The short visits also allow us to assess if boarding is a good fit for your dog. We charge our normal boarding rate for an Overnight Trial.

What to Bring

  1. Food: We require that all dogs come with the same diet they are eating at home. Consistency in diet is better for your dog and lessens the chance they will return home with an upset stomach. We welcome any diet that is fed to your dog. We have the facilities to freeze, refrigerate, and warm foods that require it.
  2. Medication: We are able to administer most medication. Please discuss all medication needs with us.
  3. Something soft: We encourage you to bring your dog’s bed or blanket. The scent will help make them feel more at home. While our entire facility is heated and equipped with central air conditioning, it is nice to have a soft place to sleep after a busy day!
  4. Personal items: We also encourage everyone to bring their dog’s favorite bones, toys and treats. Personal items are not shared with the other dogs.

Vaccination Requirements

Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella (Kennel Cough). We also require proof of a negative Fecal Exam within the last year. All vaccines must be current and proof must be provided on your dog's profile in our Online Booking System. We recommend that our guests receive their vaccinations at least 3 days prior to boarding.

Flea & Tick Medication

If you use topical flea and tick medication, we require that your dog’s product be completely dry before they are brought to Jerzey’s. Drying time is about 72 hours. Please adjust your application schedule as needed. Unpleasant side effects may occur if wet flea and tick medication is ingested by another dog.

Rates

Tax is 7%. Rates are subject to change. 

Payments

We accept payment in the form of cash or check at drop off or pick up. Credit and debit cards are not accepted.

Cancellation Policy for Boarding

Any cancellations (or reduction of days from a reservation) will incur a fee as follows: If the cancellation occurs within 14 days of the boarding start date, the fee incurred will equal 25% of the cancelled or removed reservation. If the cancellation occurs within 5 days of the boarding start date, the fee incurred will equal 50% of the cancelled or removed reservation. Once your scheduled check in date arrives, you are financially responsible through the scheduled check out date even if you pick up early. Cancellation fees are due immediately via mail or in person by appointment.

About Jerzey's Dog Resort

Jerzey’s Dog Resort opened its doors in June 2015! Our mission is to provide a safe, comfortable, attentive & fun environment for our doggie guests and also to develop a personal connection with our dog families so they feel great about leaving their dogs in our care. We create an intimate atmosphere by offering our services to only local clients that will come back time and time again and by limiting the number of reservations that we accept. Our modern, climate-controlled facility includes an indoor play yard for guaranteed play time and year-round comfort. We continue the fun outside with our outdoor turf, enclosed play yards, kiddie pool and custom doggie jungle gym! Jerzey’s Dog Resort opened in the same location that was formerly Bailey’s Bed and Biscuit.

About the Owner

Kristine has been an animal lover since a very young age. She raised a dog, cat, chickens, pigs and deer just to name a few! While raising her dog, Jerzey, Kristine developed a true appreciation for the type of companionship provided by a dog that is unmatched by any other pet.

After graduating college, Kristine worked in Corporate America for 4 years and quickly realized that type job was not for her. Deep down in her heart, Kristine aspired to be an entrepreneur. Due to her love of dogs, she began a small dog boarding business in 2014 which very quickly transformed into the dream to own her own dog boarding facility. As a result, Jerzey’s Dog Resort was born.

Kristine was a student of Elizabeth Carbone, Owner/Director of Dog Logic in Fort Edward NY, in 2014. Through her education and experience with Elizabeth and her staff, Kristine gained dog behavior knowledge and hands-on experience caring for dogs in an individual and group setting. Kristine also trained with Maureen Telisky, Owner of Bailey’s Bed and Biscuit (business at this location previously), to ensure a smooth transition for all guests including dogs and their families!
